Completing A Course

We tend to talk a lot current issues, improvement techniques, philosophy, work ethics, etc. during our nice little mamak sessions with our pals. Normally there are 4 stages during these lengthy and time consuming mamak talks. First, the introduction and little talk. Second, the common topic that mostly consist of unhappiness and happiness towards the government, society, belongings and the love ones that you belong to. These normally will spark a surge of energy within you that i would like name it a vision which leads the the Third stage, the climax. Normally this is the moment that we feel (or thought we felt) the special feeling that you can't describe in words. It makes you feel light and as if the burdens of life just disappeared into thin air and that the problems to life had been resolved. Finally the fourth stage, the cooling down which will end with another order of drinks, the always promised but never kept last cigarette of the session and the bill. We will head home driving happily and saying inside what a productive day, discovered and done something.

Introduction, Common Topic, Climax, Cooling down. Sounds like formula A2 for soloing on rhythm changes.

The next morning. I will always wake up fresh with a bad breath and the same burden that i thought and felt disappeared yesterday night at the mamak stall. How can this be. I thought the problem had been solved armed with the ideology that it is not a problem when there is a solution.

Today getting an email to forward and sign an online petition, JUSTICE FOR BENG HOCK, i realized something. I was too lazy to read the long long description and opinions on this sad happening. Then i think to myself. There are a lot of things that i want to achieve and complete but even equipped with the most intricate formulas and ideas, i am still too lazy to put it into action.

Why is that ?
Hope this aint another mamak session.
